The Sam Simon Foundation free spay/neuter program offers a state of the art mobile clinic that will travel to needy areas of Los Angeles providing free sterilization for cats and dogs and free rabies vaccines along with the surgery. Our days of operation are Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. Appointments can be made by calling
1-888-DOG-SPAY (we neuter cats too!).

Research shows that the cost of the operation is the largest deterrent for low income pet owners who would prefer not to have their pets produce unwanted litters. We are confident that if we can show that widespread free spay/neuter programs cause a statistical drop in the number of animals that come into our city shelters, that every city in the country will adopt aggressive spay/neuter programs which will in turn finally end the needless death of millions of animals in shelters each year.
