Howl-O-Ween 2009
Every year we host this get-together as an opportunity to visit with the people who have adopted dogs from our foundation. Hearing Dogs and Career Change Dogs stay in our hearts forever and we truly appreciate this chance to see how happy they are with their new families.

Lacey dressed as a 'lacey-sourous' gave it her best shot in the 'bobbing for hotdogs' game.

We had various costume contests.  This guy puts a lot of thought into their costumes every year and never ceases to amaze us with what he comes up with.  This year...Star Wars!

Howl-O-Ween 2009
"Dancing with the Dog" members demonstrated the fun you can have with your dogs by dancing with them. Choreographed steps put to music. The crowd loved it! This was also an opportunity to bring attention to the "Four Legged Friends Foundation".

This dog was once very shy and insecure.  Learning to dance, and showing off to crowds has done wonders for his confidence.

Rescued dogs of all shapes and sizes enjoy this opportunity to share time with their person.  The biggest challenge for this little dog was to keep her from visiting with the audience, but she did great!

Ventura County Animal Shelter Adopt-a-thon 2009
The event drew large numbers of people. The shelter officers were able to show off the amazing animals they have available.

There are dogs of all sizes and breeds to choose from.

Mixed breeds, purebreds, cats and horses...there are plenty of wonderful animals to see at the Ventura County Animal Shelter.

Ventura County Animal Shelter Adopt-a-thon 2009
Rescue Me, Inc hosted an adopt-a-thon at the Ventura County Animal shelter. There was music, vendors, demonstrations and a silent auction.

As a sponsor of the event, we had a booth where we could highlight our programs and our dogs for adoption.

Various groups demonstrated the many fun things that can be done, and are being done with animals.
